Privacy policy

We collect the minimum needed to prepare your order and hand it to you at the library. We never sell your data or share it with advertisers.
What we collect
Your name and phone number when you place an order, the items you ordered, what you save to your wishlist, and your Izdihar points. We never ask for a card or bank account because you pay cash on collection.
Why we collect it
To confirm your order and remind you of collection by SMS, so the library knows whose order it is at the counter, and to run your points and organisation account if you have one.
Text messages
We send your sign-in code and order messages only: order received, order ready, a reminder before the hold expires. No marketing messages without your consent.
Cookies
A session cookie keeps you signed in and a cart cookie remembers a guest's cart. No advertising trackers and no analytics that pass your data to third parties.
Photographed school lists
The photo is used to extract the items and is not stored; only the extracted text and the matches are kept. Remove the student's name from the photo if you prefer.
Retention
Order history is kept for accounting and exchanges. You can ask the library to delete your account and non-accounting data by calling 07700000000.
Security
Staff passwords are hashed, the connection is encrypted, and every action a staff member takes on your data is written to an audit log.
Contact
For any question about your data, call the library on 07700000000 or use the contact page.
